Your smile, made to measure.

Bespoke. Predictable. Personal. Dentistry to a tailor's standard in the heart of London: healthy teeth and gums and a bite that works first, then a smile designed for your face rather than taken off a shelf. Planned on screen by clinicians who work together, crafted with our own technology on site and with some of the finest technicians in the world, and looked after for life by a practice where you are known by name from your first visit.

Belonging

Not somewhere you pass through. Somewhere you belong.

Central London is full of practices for people in transit. We are the other kind: a practice people come back to, from wherever life has moved them on to, because of the relationships built here.

The Sardinia House team

A family practice, in the heart of London

Most practices in the centre of town are built for people passing through. Ours was built for people who stay. People who first sat in our chair in their twenties still come in their sixties, and their children come too.

Worth the journey

Our patients come in from wherever life has taken them: the Home Counties, the coast, the other side of the world. They could go somewhere nearer. They come here because they are known here.

The same faces, year after year

Several of our team have been at Sardinia House for more than a decade. The person who greets you remembers your name, your last visit and how you take your coffee. New patients are known by their second visit.

New to Sardinia House

A plan for your mouth, not just a fix for today.

Most people come to us for ordinary reasons: a check-up, a clean, a tooth that hurts, a filling that has given up. Whatever brings you in, that is what we deal with first. Then we do something most practices do not: we look at the whole mouth and talk you through what it needs now, what it might need in a few years, and what would help you keep your own teeth for the rest of your life.

Nothing on that plan is a sales pitch. Much of it is simply watching and waiting. Some of it is phased in when the time is right for you. And if a better-looking smile is on your list, it sits on the same plan, built on the same healthy foundation.

Now

Pain, infection, a broken tooth or bleeding gums are dealt with first, usually the same day. Then the basics: a thorough examination, a scan you see on screen, and a hygiene visit that leaves your mouth properly clean.

Next

Old fillings nearing the end of their life, a crack that will spread, teeth wearing faster than they should. Caught early and repaired carefully, before a small problem becomes a root canal or a lost tooth.

For the years ahead

A bite that chews comfortably for decades, gums that stay healthy, and teeth that last as long as you do. If you want the smile improved along the way, Invisalign®, bonding or veneers are planned on that foundation, in your own time.

Made to measure

The tailor's approach, applied to a smile.

A good tailor does not sell you a suit. He measures, cuts, fits and finishes, and the result looks as though it was always yours. We work the same way, whether the job is a check-up, a worn bite rebuilt or a new smile: design, team, delivery.

Design

Measured, not guessed

Every smile here is designed before it is made. Photographs, a scan and your own face on screen, so the proportions are yours and the result is agreed before anything begins.

Team

Many hands, one plan

Complex cases are planned by more than one clinician and carried out by a team working in step: the dentist, the surgeon, the technician, the coordinator who holds it all together.

Delivery

Finished to the detail others miss

Made on site with our own milling and printing, or by master ceramists we would put against any in the world, and fitted by the people who designed it. The craft lives in the details you will never see.

Signature work

The cases other practices refer.

Complex dentistry planned by more than one clinician and made with our own technology and the best ceramists we can find. Alongside it, everything a family needs: check-ups, hygiene, fillings and the emergency we will see today, so that wherever we can, you do not leave without a tooth.

Meet the whole team

Treatments

Everyday care and the difficult cases, from one team.

Technology

Seen on screen before it is done in the mouth.

Each instrument is here for a reason: a sharper diagnosis, a more certain plan, or fewer visits for you. Nothing is explained to you that cannot first be shown to you.

A scan at every appointment

iTero™ and Primescan scanners in every surgery. Your teeth appear on the screen beside you within minutes, and the conversation starts from there.

CBCT 3D imaging

A 3D picture of your teeth, their roots and the bone around them, captured in the practice. It is how implants and difficult root canals are planned.

Made on site, or by master ceramists

CEREC milling and 3D printing in the building for same-day crowns, guides and provisionals. For work that needs an artist's hand, ceramists we trust in the UK and abroad. Either way, wherever we can, you do not leave without a tooth.

Microscopes

Zeiss and CJ-Optik operating microscopes for root canal treatment and for finding hairline cracks.

Digital Smile Design

Your new smile designed on screen, and shown to you in your own face, before a tooth is touched.

Guided surgery

Implants and difficult root canals placed through a 3D-printed guide, so the position planned is the position achieved.

Where it all began

Forty-five years in Holborn. Still made to measure.

Sardinia House was founded in 1981 and is the original practice of Atelier Dental Group. Between them, our clinicians have more than a hundred years of experience, and some of our front-of-house team have welcomed the same patients for most of their careers.

What has changed is the technology: a scan at every appointment, milling and printing on site, treatment planned on screen before it is carried out. What has not changed is the feeling of being known.
