Is there a dentist on the LSE campus?+
Yes. Sardinia House Dental Practice is on the 4th floor of Sardinia House on Sardinia Street, opposite the LSE's Cheng Kin Ku Building. We have looked after LSE staff and students for more than twenty years.
How much is a check-up for LSE students?+
A routine check-up starts from £50 with a valid LSE ID. A full new patient appointment is between £50 and £100, depending on whether X-rays or a clean are needed to assess your mouth properly.
What is the LSE discount?+
LSE staff and students receive discounts of up to 30–40% on most routine treatments by showing their LSE ID at the practice. Cosmetic, complex and some hygienist treatments are not discounted; we will tell you in advance which applies.
Can I be seen the same day if I am in pain?+
Usually, yes. Call 020 7404 8600 as early in the day as you can and we will find the earliest slot. Emergency appointments are prioritised for pain, swelling and broken teeth.
Do I need to register in advance?+
No. Book online or call, bring your LSE ID to your first visit and you are a patient. There is no joining fee.
Can international students use the practice?+
Yes. We see students from everywhere, and a digital scan at your first visit means we can show you exactly what we find, whatever your previous dental history.
