How much do facial aesthetic treatments cost?+
The consultation is free, anti-wrinkle injections start from £250 for one area, Profhilo is from £300 per session and jaw clenching injections are from £300. These are guide fees. The exact figure is quoted in writing after the consultation, so you have it before you book.
Do I need a consultation before anti-wrinkle or jaw clenching injections?+
Yes, always. These are prescription-only medicines, so they are provided only after a face-to-face consultation with our prescribing clinician here in Holborn. Nothing is prescribed remotely and nothing is sold off the shelf.
Does it hurt?+
Injections use a very fine needle and most people feel a brief sting rather than pain. Any tenderness afterwards usually settles within a day, and a small bruise is possible but uncommon.
Why are these treatments done by dental clinicians?+
Dentists and dental therapists train in the anatomy of the face and give injections around the mouth and jaw every day. Treatments here are provided by Dr Tara Khayatpoor and Vaida Vitkeviciute, both registered dental clinicians, with a prescribing clinician assessing you first.
Will I look frozen or obviously treated?+
That is what we plan to avoid. Treatment is conservative, expression is preserved and a review visit lets us refine the result. The aim is for you to look rested rather than changed.
Do you offer dermal fillers or lip fillers?+
No. We do not currently offer dermal fillers or lip fillers. Our facial aesthetics work is limited to anti-wrinkle injections, Profhilo skin boosters and muscle-relaxing injections for jaw clenching, where our clinicians' knowledge of the face and the bite is most useful.
When can I be seen?+
Our facial aesthetics clinic runs on Wednesday evenings between 5pm and 7pm. Morning appointments from 8.30am on other days can be arranged, and each treatment appointment is 30 minutes.
