Dr Shivan Dave

Shivan qualified from King's College London and holds the MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry. Before practice he worked as a Speciality Doctor in Oral Surgery in the maxillofacial department at King's College Hospital, one of the busiest in London.

That background shows in the cases he takes on: difficult extractions, wisdom teeth, infections and the surgical side of implant treatment. He plans implants in three dimensions from a CBCT scan and places them with a guide 3D-printed on site, so the position decided on screen is the position in the mouth.

He works closely with Amit on combined Invisalign and implant cases, and is Clinical Director of Widegate House, our Spitalfields practice. Patients tend to describe him as calm, which is what you want from a surgeon.
