Dr Amit Patel

Amit is Clinical Director of Sardinia House and the founder of Atelier Dental Group, the family of practices that grew out of this one. A graduate of Guy's, King's and St Thomas', he later completed a Master's in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and has now spent more than seventeen years in practice, most of them in this building.

His work is planned digitally, from the first scan to the final restoration, so that what you see on screen at the start is what you get at the end. The Smile Architect name comes from how he works: shape, position and colour are designed together, cut to suit your face rather than lifted from a template. On implant cases he plans the result and restores the implants with the final crowns and bridges, while the surgical placement is carried out by his colleagues.

Align Technology invites him to speak and to mentor other Invisalign® providers; Dentsply Sirona counts him among its Key Opinion Leaders; and his articles on digital workflows appear in Dentistry.co.uk. Building Better, the academy he founded with Dr Spencer Richman, exists so that other dentists can learn on live cases what the two of them do here every day.
