How much does a smile makeover cost in London?+
There is no single price, because no two plans include the same treatments. The consultation is from free and Digital Smile Design from £500. Once examined, you have each stage costed in a written plan, and treatment between £1,000 and £30,000 can be paid in instalments, subject to a credit check.
How long does a smile makeover take?+
Whitening and bonding alone can be completed within a few weeks. If Invisalign is part of the plan, allow several months for tooth movement before the finishing stage. The written plan gives you a realistic timeline from the start.
Will I be able to see the result before I commit?+
Yes. The design is shown on screen over your own photographs, and a trial smile lets you wear a version of it in your mouth. Nothing irreversible happens until you have approved the design.
Does a smile makeover hurt?+
Most of the stages are comfortable. Whitening can cause brief sensitivity, bonding usually needs no anaesthetic, and veneer preparation is done under local anaesthetic. Where teeth are moved first, less drilling is needed later.
Do I have to have veneers?+
No. Many makeovers are completed with whitening, Invisalign and bonding, which leaves your own enamel almost untouched. Veneers are suggested where colour, shape or old restorations cannot be corrected any other way, and we explain why.
Can the work be spread over time?+
It can. The plan is divided into stages, each with its own fee, and we can arrange them around your diary and budget. Some people complete everything in a season; others take a year.
Who will look after me?+
The digital smile design is led by Dr Amit Patel, the Smile Architect, and the treatment itself is carried out by our cosmetic dentists, with other clinicians involved where the plan calls for it. A treatment coordinator looks after appointments, finance and your questions between visits, and our front-of-house team will know you by name.
